I never knew this until someone posted this on a bass fishing forum. Apparently the Michigan Muskie state record was broken this past September. Fisherman Kyle Anderson pulled this 50 pound 8 ounce muskie out of Troch Lake, near Traverse City. The monster muskie outweighed the old record by 2.5 pounds. The muskie is the eleventh Great Lakes muskie over 50 inches long. Officially the Muskie measured 55 inches long, that's incredible.
